Just like her sister, Ali Ferguson took the same route and posted a throwback photo with her dad. She said not a day goes by without her thinking about him.
"As much as today marks 4 years since your departure, it feels like yesterday. There’s never a day that I don’t think about you fah. I love and miss you with all of my heart, and pray that you’ll continue resting in peace fah."

"How do you wish well for a journey that you never anticipated could happen so suddenly? When did we agree now, was the time to say goodbye and have memories that last longer than lives?"
The beautiful message ended with Lesedi longing for more time with Shona, "That goodbye shouldn't have been so final and cold as the forehead I kissed. Expressing a gratitude that I wish you could've consciously collected. Affected are the hearts present and absent in this moment. Another memory without you created."
