"Saying I miss you sounds insufficient. Articulating my grief sounds redundant. So many moments missed and so much guidance needed. I hope you can feel my heart and that you know I’m trying. We need you, but we’re trying."

Just like her sister, Ali Ferguson took the same route and posted a throwback photo with her dad. She said not a day goes by without her thinking about him.

"As much as today marks 4 years since your departure, it feels like yesterday. There’s never a day that I don’t think about you fah. I love and miss you with all of my heart, and pray that you’ll continue resting in peace fah."

"How do you wish well for a journey that you never anticipated could happen so suddenly? When did we agree now, was the time to say goodbye and have memories that last longer than lives?"
