Did TK Mhinga overdose, or was she murdered?

Tsakani Mhinga's death is still shrouded in mystery. The R&B star passed away in February 2006, allegedly due to a drug overdose. 19 years after the star's death, South Africans believe the star did not receive justice. The conversation was sparked by the recent developments in DJ Sumbody's murder case.

A user with the handle @Sadmethod shared a video detailing TK's death, from why she was staying at a hotel in Bryanston to how the police handled the case. Per the video, the 27-year-old partied with several top celebrities, including Mandoza, on the day before her death.

Although the investigations reportedly led to a rape case being opened, there were no official reports about the DNA samples of the eight to ten men she partied with being collected. The cause of death was later ruled to be an overdose. Watch the video below:

South Africans on social media concluded that there are many loopholes in TK's death and that the police could have done a thorough investigation that could have led to the arrest of her murderers.

Others shared fond memories of the singer, while some shared how they felt when the news about TK's death at the height of her career was announced. TK's fans still celebrate her career and special milestones, almost two decades after her death.
