The man claiming to be Jay-Z's son has officially withdrawn his fraud case against the rapper.

"I’m gonna let y’all know I have not stopped my fight. You know, I did withdraw my case, but it’s for a reason. It’s not because I’m stopping with it or not going to refile it or anything. It’s just a lot going on behind closed doors. Hey, we gotta step back and play chess, not checkers."

According to the 31-year-old, his late mother Wanda had a relationship with Hov in the 1990s when she was 16 years old. His lawsuit, filed in May 2025, seeks damages for emotional distress, damage to reputation, and lack of financial support, among other things.
Before her passing, Wanda allegedly spent decades trying to prove that the rap mogul was the father of her son. After his mom's death, he continued the fight for the truth alongside his godmother and seemingly dedicated his life to finding the truth.
Over the years, Jay-Z has reportedly been ducking and dodging paternity tests. He has, however, emphasised in his songs and legal documents that Satterthwaite was not his.
Meanwhile, his resemblance to Satterthwaite has only fueled speculation that the 55-year-old rapper may have had a child before Blue Ivy Carter.
