Twitter (X) user Gert_LeNinja shared an old video on 1 August 2025 of Nketsi being interviewed on her reality show about her decision to start rapping:

"What inspired me to do music is the fact that I love hip hop, I love music. I've always rapped from a child. In my head, I'm Meagan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B; I love it so much. I'm a performer at heart."

The video soon transitions to Porry and his guys in his recording studio listening to Faith rap, while Madumane gives her his stamp of approval.

After suddenly ending her dance career, back when she was called Queen Twerk, Faith attempted to be a rapper, a move that ended as quickly as it started. However, she did release some songs before dropping the mic for good.

The video was in response to Tokyo_Trev's post trolling Porry's reaction:

"I'll never forget when Phori was pretending that Faith Nketsi was a good rapper."

Porry's enthusiasm left many wondering whether he was being genuine or had an ulterior motive.

Here's what Mzansi said about DJ Maphorisa's video

Social media users accused Porry of fishing for points to try and hook up with Faith Nketsi:

__Lusanda said:

"No, man, Kabza really saved this guy. He was heading straight to the trenches at this point."

"Am I the only one who thought she killed it?"

"All she needed was practice. Look at Andile Mpisane. He went from being a mockery to people saying he can actually play."

musa_mngadi added:

"She wasn’t even that bad, y'all are just hating."

_Thuba_K_ added:

"Flow is nice, she just needed a ghost writer and a real hip hop producer."
