Despite Ntsiki Mazwai denying ever offering Euphonik an apology or begging him to drop the lawsuit against her, MacG and Sol Phenduka seem to buy it.
Sunday World reported on 28 July 2025 that DJ Euphonik applied for a sequestration of Ntsiki Mazwai due to her assets allegedly amounting to R1500.
MacG and Sol weigh in on Euphonik and Ntsiki drama
In the recent episode of Podcast And Chill, the hosts weighed in on this matter and gave their unbiased opinion. As the Ghost Lady read out a headline, Sol Phenduka and MacG burst into laughter. This was in reaction to a supposed story on how Ntsiki Mazwai apologised to Euphonik and admitted that she was misinformed. In the story read by the co-host, Ntsiki was said to have begged Euphonik to drop the charges against her.

MacG and Sol speculated whether the only reason Ntsiki apologised was if she wanted the lawsuit to be dropped.
"Euphonik is dragging her and wants his money," said Sol with MacG adding, "He has the right to do that." MacG warned saying, "Do you see the effects of seeking attention for clickbait."

Ntsiki denies apologising to Euphonik
After the report that she apologised to have the lawsuit thrown out, Ntsiki Mazwai quickly set the record straight, saying she did no such thing.
“Good morning, all. It's Monday, the 28th of July, and I'm seeing that the Sunday World published a story yesterday, and it's inaccurate. It's not factual. There is nothing I can do about people taking private emails and then making them seem like they are something they are not. I want to let South Africans know I have made no apology for anything. No court of law has ordered me to apologise for anything,” she said.
She further clarified that she has never referred to Euphonik as a rapist:
“I have never called anybody a rapist. The only court case I know of is me getting into trouble for reposting a tweet about abuse and about abuses. So, the narrative about the rapist is a narrative that has been created, and I can't respond to it because my court order says I can't comment on the case. So, I'm in a precarious position where narratives are being created, but I'm not allowed to respond because of a court order. But I wanted to say that I've never falsely accused anybody of rape,” she explained.

What you need to know about Ntsiki Mazwai and Euphonik's drama
Ntsiki Mazwai and Euphonik's drama dates back to March 2021 when the outspoken poet accused the DJ of being a rapist in a social media rant. Euphonik approached the Johannesburg High Court seeking an interdict against Ntsiki forbidding her from making defamatory utterances about him on social media and generally.
In March 2022, Judge Fisher ruled in Euphonik’s favor. Mazwai tried to appeal twice, but she was dismissed and was ordered to pay damages and court costs, totaling R74,000 initially and then R104,316 in additional costs. A punitive costs order of over R114,000 was imposed due to delayed and failed appeal attempts.
Ntsiki Mazwai has reportedly paid R6,000 out of the more than R280,000 she owes DJ Euphonik. Recently, the controversial poet made headlines following reports that the court ordered her property to be attached, but the sheriff revealed that her assets are worth R1,500. This is not the first legal battle that Ntsiki has lost due to her posts.
The star also lost a defamatory case against DJ Fresh after she was taken to court for calling him a rapist.
