US Rapper Don Toliver to Headline DStv Delicious Festival on Saturday

One of America's most successful hip hop artists, Don Toliver, will be heating the stage at this year's DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival.

The two-day event will also bring some of the best local entertainers under one roof, entertaining the masses. The festival will be taking place at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit from 20 to 21 September.

Don Toliver to bring the heat on stage

The No Pole hitmaker, Don Toliver, will be setting the stage on fire on Saturday, 20 September. Joining the chart-topper are two of Mzansi's biggest acts, including Kwesta and music duo Inkabi Zezwe, made up of Sjava and Big Zulu.

Taking to Instagram, the official account of the DStv Delicious Fest said, "Your Saturday headliners have arrived! Global hitmaker Don Toliver touches down for his first South African performance, bringing his signature sound that’s taken over the world! Sharing the stage with him - South African heavyweight Kwesta, and the unstoppable force of Big Zulu x Sjava as Inkabi Zezwe. This is promising to be more than a show. It’s a moment in African live music history."

Netizens have expressed excitement over witnessing Don Toliver for the first time in Mzansi.

Speaking about the event, the media and marketing director, Funeka Peppeta, said, “This line-up is a bold celebration of local and global talent, reflecting the diverse spirit of the DStv Delicious Festival.”

Fans can expect a mix of Amapiano, Afro-house, soulful house, hip-hop, Afro-Tech, 3-step, and gqom.

“The Channel O Dance Stage is where rhythm meets heritage. We’re proud to curate a space where the continent’s most exciting DJs and dance music innovators come together to celebrate the sounds that move South Africa."

More local acts include Distruction Boyz, Kamo Mphela and Oscar Mbo. “This year brings global and local legends to one dance floor. It’s a powerful celebration of who we are and how we groove.”

Hey Neighbour postpones event

In a previous report from Briefly News, Hey Neighbour has announced that the festival has been postponed.

The show was to be headlined by American singer Doja Cat and was initially scheduled for August 2025. Ticket holders demanded answers regarding their refunds and whether the same artists would still be available.
