"Somveli, you owe me nothing. I love you all❤️, or this character has been far beyond my expectations. I’d like to thank you all for hating him, loving him, wishing he didn’t succeed and still rooting for him at the same time. And to all those who’ve yearned for a father's approval. I hope you got to live that through him🙏🏽I love you all," he wrote.

Former The Wife actor Mondli Makhoba also showed love to Nkanyiso Mzimela for his impeccable acting skills as he portrayed his role as Somveli on Shaka iLembe.

"@mystik_nights MfokaMzimela, Lulwandle. We cannot witness and pretend we did not. We cannot feel and act as if we didn’t. We want to extend our gratitude to you and your people for we saw the son that longed for his father’s recognition from the first season in your portrayal of Somveli kaDingiswayo @thembinkosi__mthembu of abaThethwa.
