Good vibes, great company, scenic views and loads of shopping, what better way to celebrate the big 46? Nonku Williams jetted off to Cape Town as part of her birthday celebrations.

The Real Housewives of Durban reality TV star Nonku Williams turned a year older on 6 August 2025. At the time, she penned a heartwarming message to herself, marking a new chapter in her life.

"Chapter 46. Closing one chapter, welcoming the next. “See, I am doing a new thing. Now, it springs forth, do you not perceive it?” (Isaiah 43:19) God’s Goodness and FaIthfulness have brought me this far, and I’m excited for what lies ahead. The old has gone, the new has come!"

What Nonku got up to In Cape Town

Her birthday retreat was filled with lots of fun activities that rich housewives engage in. Nonku and Bev were booked at a luxurious hotel, which gave them a front row seat at the beauty of the Mother City.

Williams captioned her post, "A tranquil retreat. Overlooking the marina. Surrounded by peaceful views and serene surroundings."

In another post, she and Bev visited Dolce & Gabbana and enjoyed a shopping spree while sipping champagne.

"Still glowing from the birthday love and already stepping into National Women’s Day with gratitude, strength and a whole lot of Dolce & Gabbana."

Before leaving for Cape Town, Nonku's kids surprised her with a very thoughtful birthday dinner.

"I’m speechless and overwhelmed with love for my incredible kids! The dinner setup is beautiful, but it’s your thoughtfulness and love that truly make my heart full. Thank you for making my birthday unforgettable. I love you guys!"

On her birthday, Beverly posted a cute video with Nonku Williams as they sang and drank a whole lot of champagne.

"Today we celebrate you, @nonku_williams. Your laughter, your strength, your kindness, and the light you bring into my life. I’m so grateful for all the memories we’ve made and the ones still to come. May this year bring you endless joy, growth, love, and everything your heart desires. Their friendship came at a time when Nonku and her bestie Jojo Robinson hit a rough patch.

In a statement shared with Briefly News, Beverly spoke about her and Nonku's friendship, labelling it complex.

"It is layered and complex, like many friendships; we have had moments of closeness and moments of distance."

She added that they have mutual respect for one another and maintain boundaries.
