In a dramatic turn of events, @Sugababiie_ broke her silence and addressed the alleged affair by claiming it was more than a fling:
"It was not an affair. I needed 25k but decided to ask 7k instead, so I can look good while he parades me at his events. Mans said he was single, even posted those screenshots for clarification, bought me an 'l love you' PS."
She went on to allude to Emtee not being in the right frame of mind and needing support, claiming he "needs to be saved":
"We've been good to each other, I hope his true friends check up on him coz he's not fine and surrounded by users. #FREEHIM. I will not speak on other stuff because it's not my place. But what I do know is he really needs to be saved, and I was willing to."
Meanwhile, another screenshot was revealed from a conversation with former Big Brother Mzansi star Mshini Lekwadu, with Emtee asking to pay her a visit.
Lekwadu later cleared the air about their conversation in a statement, claiming the conversation was taken out of context.
"Over time, we had brief interactions via DM, and in his last message, he asked when he could visit and where I stayed. I responded with my address under the impression that our conversation was strictly business-related and in line with my support for his music."

Here's what Mzansi said about Emtee's scandal
Social media users slammed Emtee's alleged affairs and accused his wife of leaking the conversations.
Paula Quinsee, a relationship therapy educator, told Briefly News journalist Jessica Gcaba why it is vital for the couple not to address this situation publicly.
"Know what is worth a response and when, sometimes silence is the best policy," she stated.
Quinsee believes that this will allow the story to die down on its own.
Below are some of the reactions:

AshleighAmberl1 suggested:
"She needs to expose him and then leave him. You can’t expose him and stay."
