Rapper Emtee's leaked DMs opened a whole can of worms, with the ladies he was conversing with being placed under scrutiny. Many people speculate that his wife, Nicole Chinsamy, was responsible for this in an effort to expose his cheating ways.
One of the ladies who slid into his DMs was former Big Brother Mzansi star Mshini Lekwadu. However, the content creator attempted to clear her name by urging Emtee to post the full conversation to prove that their conversation was innocent.

Emtee sets the record straight
The Manando hitmaker did just that; he cleared Mshini's name by issuing a statement setting the record straight. In her statement, Mshini clarified that she has always been a big fan of Emtee's music, so she slid into his DMs to shoot her shot at a possible music video feature.
Emtee revealed in a statement that the respect and admiration were mutual, so he wanted to meet up with her to discuss business.
"I do not know Mshini personally. Like most people, I watched her on Big Brother and witnessed how she supports my craft. This is something rare for me to see because I never know where I stand with people or how people feel about me," he said.
The rapper then acknowledged his wrongdoing by saying he appreciates Mshini's support. He also stated that he wanted to refrain from doing anything because he is a married man. Additionally, he lauded Mshini for being a kind-hearted person, although they have never officially met.
"I know I'm not perfect. Very far from it, but I have heart and empathy. My intention was to meet her personally and thank her. She has been nothing but kind to me, and I appreciate that. I'm "married" so I had no other intention but to say thank you and figure out a way we could work together since she is a public figure, a hard worker and a good person in general from what I see."
He ended the statement by saying he would never intentionally put her safety at risk by posting their conversation with her home address.
Paula Quinsee told Briefly News that it is important for celebrities not to behave in this manner, as it worsens the situation in some cases.
"Not every scandal needs a response, and silence can prevent adding fuel to media cycles, allowing things to quickly fade as other news comes to the forefront," she advised.

Emtee's side chick spills the tea
In a previous report from Briefly News, Maipelo Lentswe, and Instagram baddie by the handle Sugababiie, addressed claims about her relationship with Emtee. Sugababiie accused Emtee's wife, Nicole Chinsamy, of a number of things and explained why she asked the rapper for R7,000.
“Half-truths. You followed me first, texted me first, hit on me, said I’m the best thing to happen to you, laid up on my bed and gave me princess treatment, now you want to make it seem like that? She can keep you fr!”
Peeps called out Emtee for disrespecting the mother of his three kids by calling her names when interacting with his supposed side chicks.
