Simz Ngema on healing after losing Dumi
The actress always takes the time to reflect on her healing right after the passing of her husband, Dumi Masilela.
The rising star sadly lost his life in a hijacking when he was shot dead in 2017 in Tembisa.
In an interview on Life Lately with Nozipho, the now-mother of two said this about Dumi:
“I feel like God sends people to me because, like I said, I'm always in the house, I'm always minding my own business. I'm not a girl who's going to be out there looking for something, but God, in some way, kind of brought him into my life. I wasn't looking for a guy who was like my dad. He just sent somebody who was so similar to my dad,” she explained.
Simphiwe Ngema visits Thabo Bester
In a previous report from Briefly News, in 2024, former Muvhango actress Simphiwe Ngema visited Thabo Bester in prison.
Ngema confirmed this in a statement on social media that she is the female celebrity who visited Bester at Mangaung Correctional Centre in 2018.
"This was five years ago, and I have supporting documents that prove I had only visited on one occasion. Dated April 5, 2018. The media should stop vilifying his victims and using us as a tool for distraction because we also want answers," read the statement.
