DJ Bongz is feeling on top of the world after American singer and actor Jamie Foxx performed his famous Gwara Gwara dance.

On 19 August 2025, the Django Unchained actor posted a video of himself doing DJ Bongz's once-famous dance to an Amapiano song, so as to celebrate winning big in a padel match.

The next day, Bongz shared the video on his Instagram page, praising Jamie Foxx on his dance moves. The Durban nightclub owner told TimesLIVE that his dance gaining international recognition again, was a sign that it was still popular:
