A new set of celebrity doppelgangers has surfaced, and everyone is talking about how much these ordinary citizens look like some famous South African celebrities.

basscatalogue, an Instagram entertainment page, shared a carousel of pictures of some Mzansi stars and their lookalikes on 21 August 2025, and the resemblance was striking.

Cassper Nyovest's lookalike, Tiro, is a petrol attendant from the Kagiso township in Gauteng. He was first spotted in April 2023 after TikTok user Thuso _ etsile discovered him during a gas stop.

The Kusho Bani hitmaker later caught wind of his lookalike and reacted with a hilarious comment to one of his videos:

"Hahaha, I'm sure buddy gets all the girls back home."

Clearly, Mufasa's lookalikes are diverse after another was spotted dancing at an event. This time, it was a white man, and his viral video had social media raving over his impressive dance moves.

But Mufasa wasn't the only celeb with an unconfirmed twin.

In May 2025, Briefly News covered DJ Maphorisa's doppelgänger dancing in a viral video. Fans noted their resemblance and said he was a "discounted version of Porry." But that's not all.

Four years prior, the Scorpion Kings member shared a picture of another lookalike, and was extremely amused after his "twin" and another man recreated his and Kabza De Small's picture.

More celebrities with lookalikes include Kabza De Small, Zee Nxumalo, Oscar MBO, Leemckrazy, Eemoh, Pcee, Emtee, Scotts Maphuma and DBN Gogo, who have undoubtedly left the country seeing double. Check out their pictures below:

South Africans couldn't get over how much the lookalikes and celebs resembled each other:

Botswana content creator, Nandi Son, was stunned to see that he, too, made it into the list of doppelgängers as Scotts Maphuma's lookalike, despite his Instagram name being Scotts' Son. He asked:
