Taking to Instagram on Saturday, 16 August 2025, Somizi Mhlongo expressed excitement as he announced that tickets to his upcoming event, Shades of Pink, have been sold out. Somgaga, as the choreographer is known, celebrated the achievement in a way only he could.

In the video, Somizi took his fans down memory lane after he excitedly danced to the Joyous Celebration song God Be Praised. He was rocking one of the signature outfits from his Sompire brand and an Afro wig.

What you should know about Somizi's Shades of Pink event

Briefly News reported that Somizi's Shades of Pink concert will be held on Saturday, 30 August.

The star-studded event will feature a line-up of artists to cater for both the young and old. Shades of Pink will be hosted at Centre Court, located in the Convention Centre at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park.
