"I’ll tell you what's more painful than death: it is dedicating your life to your work, but when the final curtain call comes, you have nothing to show for it. Creatives really need to be treated better, especially actors. How long shall it be? Rest in peace, Mama."

"The South African arts industry should be so ashamed of itself to let this happen.. No royalties, no syndication fees, no UIF, no recognition, no dignity! It’s disgusting! There’s no respect for those who made this industry what and where it is! MXIM! I’m tired!"

"This breaks my heart."
sizakeledlamini responded:
"This and all the workers public/private who they keep on renewing their contracts instead of making them permanent employees. I know a man who was in a contract for a good 15 years, renewed yearly when he retired at 60 his last pay check was all he got. Sad right? Unbelievable right? But true."
diamond_archive replied:
"The sad part is when death visits, you already know, but can’t say a word about it because it silences you. Rest in Peace, legend."
pat_sithebe commented:
"@ciciworldwide, oh my God. I don't think we, as the consumers of your beautiful work, understand what it takes. So sorry we don't elevate what you so freely give. We love it, truly do."
