He shared that Sol Phenduka was meant to make a cameo on Shaka iLembe, but he fell sick around the time they were shooting. The Podcast and Chill crew, especially Sol Phenduka, were curious to learn what it was like for MacG to wear a g-string. MacG confirmed the number of g-strings made for the show as previously revealed by Mzansi Magic.

“But yeah, you had to wear a g-string. So, under those things there they wear a g-string there, bro. There are some g-strings; you pick one that fits you, my man. They’re all brand new, that's why there's so many. No, it's a g-string, but then there's a thing that covers you in the front like normal underwear, but at the back it's just a strip. It's the same as the ladies' one, yes,” MacG said.

He also shared a hilarious experience where they had to reshoot a scene because he kept speaking in English.

It's a different atmosphere, different ambience, bro. You feel like you're back in those days, and you can feel like the ancestors are there. You know what I mean? Like, the energy is too much, bro.
