Imagine getting to travel the world to celebrate your birthday. That was the reality of Black Coffee's son, Esona Maphumulo.
The young rising star, who goes by Sona, recently turned 26 on 18 August, and had the pleasure of travelling across five countries with his father and some of their loved ones to celebrate his special day.
According to Coffee's Instagram post on 26 August, their itinerary included flying to San Francisco for 24 hours for two shows, partying in Italy, and briefly watching Esona perform in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The pair, along with his father's long-term girlfriend, also travelled in and out of New York to celebrate at Central Park and spent time with family and close friends in Mykonos, Ibiza, and visited other destinations in between.

Sona, following in his father's footsteps as a DJ and producer, has made his own mark internationally.. In 2022, he was credited as a producer on one of Canadian rapper Drake's albums, Honestly, Nevermind, for a song titled Texts Go Green.
Following an incredible, fun-filled July, Black Coffee shared a photo dump of the memorable moments they had in August, and added that he was grateful for the life he had been blessed with.

Black Coffee and his girlfriend hang out with Drake
