New music from Tyla? Yes, please! The singer has finally released We Wanna Party, and one standout song is already on heavy rotation.

International superstar Tyla is finally back with some more music with the release of her new project.

We Wanna Party is a blend of dancehall and Tyla's signature PoPiano style that's helped her break through the international music market.

Before its release, the title of the EP came under scrutiny after Tyla revealed in an interview that it was inspired by a South African party chant.

With just four songs and a single feature from Wizkid, the singer gave fans a bite-sized project that's sure to dominate music charts in no time, and one track in particular is on everyone's lips.

One of the Grammy Award-winner's new songs, Mr Media, speaks to tabloids spreading misinformation about her.

The singer has faced her fair share of scrutiny since her rise to the top, from being labelled an industry plant to being slammed for identifying as coloured. She has also been accused of copying singer Ayra Starr on several occasions.

Meanwhile, she continues to hold her head high and the South African flag even higher, and her latest move might just help another Mzansi star reach international channels.

She sampled Amapiano star Leemackrazy's famous tag that he has used in his recordings and performances, and shared a video of herself singing the lines while seductively winding her waist to the vibey dancehall beat.

It's not clear whether the two stars have a collaboration in the works or Tyla was merely tipping her hat to Leemackrazy. However, the Ebasini hitmaker acknowledged Tyla's gesture and reshared her video on Instagram.
