Kabza De Small's new album is already soaring through music charts in its first week, and there's no telling how well it will do in a month.
How did Kabza De Small's album perform?
Kabza De Small is fresh off the release of his newly-released and long-awaited album, and it's clear that fans were eager to hear his new music.
The Amapiano maestro dropped his latest masterpiece, Bab'Motha, on 18 July 2025, and within its first week, the project garnered 10 million all-time plays.

On its third day, the album was streamed nearly 680,000 times, becoming the most globally charted South African album in 2025, charting in 27 countries worldwide, according to Apple Music.

Meanwhile, Spotify revealed that Kabza's monthly listeners increased to 3 million after the release.
Twitter (X) user 2022AFRICA noted that Bab'Motha was the third-fastest album in South Africa to reach this milestone in 9 days, after Kelvin Momo's Thato Ya Modimo and Drake's For all the Dogs.
In an Instagram post on 25 July, Kabza expressed his appreciation with a humble "Ngiyabonga":
