People in clubs, schools and other places have been touched by the song as it shares a powerful message to God. In mid-July, Thatohatsi went to perform the song at the Vaal University of Technology.
Although the venue was packed, the crowd was not fully connected. Some people watched her and stayed mute, while others took out their phones to record.
Thatohatsi explained her disappointment:
“It’s so heartbreaking sometimes how the crowd can keep quiet on you. Oh well…”
The artist also shared a message to her supporters:
“Besides the fact that I can sing and that I can write powerful lyrics, I'd really love to thank each one of you for believing in me. I’d like to thank the people of Mzansi for being there, commenting positively and giving me free words of encouragement when I couldn't even see the value of myself and my craft.
“You all contributed to my success, although it's just the beginning, but it is really better than before. In my whole entire life, I never thought that I'd be part of a song that would heal people. I thank you.”
