A Skeem Saam fan caused a stir online after visiting the iconic Maputla house instead of seeing it on his screen. While he didn't meet the fictional homeowners, he met the real one.

The teen, @vester2197, took to his TikTok account on 28 July to share his encounter with the woman of the house, confirming that it was the same house he had seen on his screen. The gogo agreed with the boy and informed him that production was not currently shooting.

While the popular show, which pulled in 4.3 million viewers in May, is based in the rural areas of Turfloop outside Polokwane, the woman's home is actually located in Hammanskraal.
