"And if you touch my private parts, private parts, private parts, if you touch my private parts, I will tell my mother, I will tell my father, I will tell my teacher."
While she sang, an energetic Gelda motioned to her chest and nether regions.
The woman wrote in her post:
"Being safe. Make sure they put in the emotion."
After going viral for the educational song, Gelda spoke to eNCA and shared:
"I think that Grade 1 is very late (to teach them about the song) because perpetrators don't wait for a specific time to abuse kids. They just wait for an opportunity.
"As we speak, there are two-year-olds, three-year-olds, four-year-olds, even five-year-olds who are undergoing abuse in their homes, and some of them feel it is okay.
"If we can educate our kids as young as they are and tell them that if anyone touches them in a manner that makes them feel uncomfortable, they have the right to report it and speak up."

Commenting on Gelda's emotion during the sing-along, @savannahlakexo noted to the public:
"Why is she angry? She is singing from their point of view, she is channelling the anger for them if they are touched inappropriately, she is showing them how to feel about it, angry. A lot of kids do not know how to feel in these situations, and this helps them connect feelings to situations subconsciously."
A proud @siveshneem said:
"Yes. Louder! Teaching kids not to be shy about this is so important."
@farley106 told the online community:
"I wouldn’t want my kids anywhere near anyone who has a problem with this. That’s a huge red flag. This teacher is a queen. The world needs more like her."
