She stated in her post, which she shared on 28 July 2025, that she was soaking wet, on her period, and without a proper meal in hours, she found herself surrounded by meat dishes, burgers, hot dogs, and combination pizza, all off-limits for her diet. Not one family member asked about her dietary needs, and her boyfriend, who was making the pizzas, didn’t think to include a meat-free option.
“I would never do that to him at my house,” she shared, upset that her needs were overlooked.
The only thing she was eventually handed was a small cup of waffle fries, which her boyfriend ate after she declined. The incident left her feeling ignored, hungry, and hurt. She expressed the following in her recent update by saying:
"Looking back, I think we were both a little in the wrong; it was just a sucky, awkward situation overall. I do think it was very inconsiderate, and we did have a long talk about it. But it’s not something I can hold against him for the rest of his life."

"I can’t imagine any scenario where my husband would stuff his face whilst I looked on without having anything to eat. I can’t imagine my ILs putting me through that either. OOP, she needs to raise her standards."
Chunkycow added:
"The boyfriend sounds extremely disrespectful. He was in charge of ordering the food and didn’t bother to think of getting something for his girlfriend. I wouldn’t have blamed her if she got furious with him. It shows how little respect he has for her."
He Peach Blossoms expressed:
"How do people just say, 'Oh, you should have bought something to eat?" In all of these kinds of situations. Gosh, why can't we just be a guest sometimes instead of a walking fcking restaurant for ourselves. How is it not the job of the owner of the house to accommodate the guest?? Are you serious?"
