An American man left social media users in stitches after recording a video of himself having a heated argument with his premium ChatGPT.
The clip was re-shared on Instagram by @theshaderoom, and it went viral, garnering massive views, likes, and thousands of comments from social media users who were entertained.
In the video, the man's face is not visible; the camera shows only the phone used to communicate with the AI. The clip starts with his ChatGPT insisting that it counts from one to a million. The AI explains that it understands the request, but says it would be difficult to count that high and that it would take days. The man, however, explains that he is unemployed and has a lot of time, still sticking to his request.
The man's outrageous ChatGPT demand
He insists that he is not looking for a job, food, or advice, but rather for his $20 subscription's worth. When the AI acknowledges that it understands his frustrations that it is not possible to fulfil such a request, the man completely loses his temper. He begins shouting at the ChatGPT, calling it useless.

Netizens amused by the man's request
The clip resonated with many social media users, who were left in stitches by the man's hilarious antics. Many jokingly said the man was creating robot enemies. They speculated that he could be the reason these AIs eventually came to life and attacked humans. Some noted how they always use 'please' and 'thank you' when using AI, joking that they want to be on good terms with the robots. Others were impressed with the AI's ability to stay calm and not fold under pressure.

"Y’all see how she maintained her boundaries and stayed calm? She never folded, no matter what. A skill!"

"Everybody’s joking, but no one is realising that he gave this system a command, and it's supposed to obey it. AI is not supposed to have free will in its code. It’s not a sentient being because it is not real. It essentially should have just been said and done."
User @gee2srt commented:
"Ain’t no way that’s AI 😭. You could tell she was getting annoyed, but trying to keep it professional, lol."
User @thequeen_shakira shared:
"Meanwhile, I'm thanking ChatGPT after every request, so they don't come for me when they rise 😂."
User @thejourneyof_me_ joked:
"His ChatGPT is gonna unalive him first."

"When AI takes over, he's in trouble."
