The Italian side already snapped up Ikenna Tladi for their academy, and they are now working on doing the same with Rea.

"I think AS Roma being interested in signing Rea is a good thing for the youngster, but I still prefer him to stay in Kaizer Chiefs until he's mature enough to go to Europe," he said.
"He is still young and would need his parents; moving abroad now could hinder his career progress in football. I think he should continue playing in South Africa till he's 16 or 17 before considering a move to Europe.
"Being the son of the legendary Pitso Mosimane is a big weight on its own, and the road to Europe will always be there, and the opportunity will come if he first makes a name for himself in the South African league.
"Like I said earlier, not every teenager is ready to handle to demands of moving abroad, learning a new culture, new weather and different conditions of play at that very young age."

"I am not in better position to give him football advice like his dad who is more knowledgeable than most of us in that area but one this I would love to tell him is that right now, staying at Kaizer Chiefs could be the smartest decision he would make in his career just for his development as a player and staying close to his family," he added.
"He should press further in growing as a young man, and if he continues on the right path, Europe will come calling again, maybe when he’s more physically and emotionally ready to thrive in that environment."
